Thank
you for your interest in Namesake Entertainment, our projects,
goals and our website. We will try to keep you updated on all the latest
happenings. We appreciate your continued patience, prayers and support. #2. How do I go about submitting myself for acting roles, stunt work, or production crew positions? Please feel free to submit your picture, resume and reel to Ms. Eaton at the above-mentioned address. Once again, please indicate on the outside of the envelope that a resume and reel are enclosed; otherwise it may be returned to you unopened. #3. If I am not hired, how do I get my picture, resume, reel, etc. back? Because we receive so many unsolicited materials, we cannot return these items to you. Please note that by submitting any of these items to Namesake Entertainment, you acknowledge that these will become property of Namesake. Once we receive such items, you grant all known and future rights of the unsolicited material to Namesake for the company's unrestricted use, for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation, credit or any other rights to you, the provider of the unsolicited material. #4. Do you hire non-union actors for your productions? Yes, however, most of our productions are union. If you are not a union member, you can still work on a union project by filing a Taft-Hartley when hired. #5. I would like to become a Writer/Director/Actor/Editor - how can I go about starting a career in the Christian film industry? Start locally for experience (TV stations, production companies) study and involve yourself anyway possible in any and all aspects of the industry. Be willing to start at the bottom and work your way up, experience is crucial. If you're an actor, we suggest you begin looking at local agents for representation or contact local TV or production companies that create commercials and corporate videos, and submit your headshot. If you're a writer, you may want to contact an agent, many companies won't accept scripts if not submitted through an agent. As always, keep submitting your resume, reel and/or picture to production companies. #6. Do you consider outside submissions on scripts for film projects? I have an idea or a script - how do I go about submitting it to Namesake Entertainment? We are not accepting any submissions at this time. Please note that unsolicited scripts or ideas sent to our offices will be returned unopened. If we accidentally open it, it will not be read and will fall under our submission policy for unsolicited materials (see question #3). #7. We are seeking a producer/production partner for our project. Can you help me? Any serious inquiries can be made through written submissions to Ms. Eaton's attention at the above-mentioned address. #8. Does Namesake Entertainment distribute films for independent filmmakers? We are happy to look at independent projects for distribution. However, before we can look at your film, you must fill out our submission release forms. If you are interested in this, please call Ms. Eaton at 502-243-3185 or fill out our inquiry form on the "Contact Us" page. #9. Can I contact an actor, writer, director, etc or get their autograph through Namesake Entertainment? An individual's website might be available to the public to handle these requests, but Namesake does not forward messages to any of the talent associated with our productions, nor do we have publicity materials/photos to send out. #10. What do you mean by evangelical? By evangelical or faith-based, we mean that the message has, at its foundation, Biblically accurate principles and that the Christian market would support it. #11. Will you be making a movie from Frank Peretti's second book of the Veritas Project Series, Nightmare Academy? At this point, we are no longer developing Nightmare Academy, we may revisit it at a later date. However, if you are a fan of Mr. Peretti's writing, you should note that we have produced the film version of The Visitation. Please watch the website for updates on that film. #12. How can I help promote your films? Thank you for supporting our movies! We are keeping an e-mail database of all who have contacted us and want to help support our projects. When our films are ready for a theatrical or a DVD/Video release, we will contact all of our volunteers to help promote sales. #13. What is the status of Left Behind TV Series? Has it been cast yet? What is the release date for the pilot episode? Will Kirk Cameron and the other LB: The Movie stars appear on the TV series? Will the episodes later be available on DVD/VHS? Namesake has retained the right to develop and produce the Left Behind TV Series worldwide. We are currently exploring options for the show. Casting has not taken place. After the series has aired, we plan to release episodes of the show on DVD/Video. #14. Will there be a Left Behind Kid's TV Series? This has yet to be determined. #15. I would like to know if you plan on or have already made the other Left Behind books in the series into movies, and if so, how can I get them? When will the future films in the Left Behind series be released? Left Behind II: Tribulation Force is currently available on DVD/Video. Left Behind III: World at War is currently scheduled for release in Fall 2005. #16. Why is there no mention of the other Left Behind movies on Namesake's website? I thought Namesake co-owned the rights to the movie series? Namesake has relinquished rights to Cloud Ten Pictures, allowing them to produce the other Left Behind films independently. #17. I live outside of the United States and Canada and would like to purchase your Left Behind: The Movie DVD/Video. How can I go about doing this? Please contact Shauna Jackson at Showcase Entertainment, as she is our foreign agent. Her e-mail is shauna@showcaseentertainment.com and her phone number is 818-715-7005. She can direct you to the nearest available DVD/Video retailer. #18. How can I help support Namesake's projects? We
would ask that you direct people to our website and spread the word about
what's happening in Christian entertainment. Also, sign up for our e-mail
updates and we'll notify you when we begin marketing efforts for our upcoming
films. May God continue to bless your efforts. |
